better late than never...

I know its a little to late to post the things I am Thankful for...but then again not really cause I'm thankful for lots of things all througout the year. I just wanted to do a special thanksgiving post and never got around to it. But last week every morning when I would get into my HOT shower and was just soooo Thankful for HOT water to shower in. I know its simple...but it makes my day!! And i know not everyone is blessed with that. I aslo have been extra thankful for clemintines!!! those things are soooo dang good! I love them! :) and eat more of them than i probably should but they are sooo good! yum yum!!

So our Thanksgiving was a little crazy due to some bad weather. We were heading up to Washington to be with my family but we ended up not making it because some roads were closed. :( i was WAY sad! Cause I haven't seen my family...well since Hailey's wedding which was only in October...but for me that is a long time. Plus i have this new baby bump i've been wanting to show them! haha :) And...thanksgiving is always just a tender time of year for me since its when i lost my mom. I can't believe its been 6 years. Its so crazy some days its still seems like it was just yesterday. But its been 6 years now...crazy crazy. And we were all going to go the temple together which would have been sooo special and Cody said me and Hay Hay would have just have been crying the whole time. haha (probably true) and we were also going to take family pictures! so...i missed out on all of that!!! Plus my dad (Mr. Amazing) cooked thanksgiving dinner without any power! He is the man! He did his first deep fry turkey and loved it! So...i really wish I could have been there for all of that. But my boss is letting me take off almost a week the first part of January before Cody goes back to school to go up there. So that will be awesome!! I'll just be huge and not really wanting to take family pictures! Oh well!

But don't worry...Cody and I still had a great Thanksgiving! Cody he is sooo good to me!! I seriously am soooo dang lucky and I truly hope all my sisters find someone as good as he is for their husband one day! haha But he knew I was pretty bummed not being able to make it up there so we did all that could think of to make it fun! We ended up going to the the temple the same day as my family and did sealings and I had my first pregnant moment. I passed out!! haha and while I didn't like the feeling...I loved it at the same time cause for the first time I really felt pregnant! It was kinda fun!! in a weird way. haha

We also tried snowshoeing...and i decided...that i'm actually not the biggest fan of it. It was pretty boaring. haha but it was still fun being with Cody and watching him try and make it fun.

Well as usual my post is very random and jumps all over the place. But before I end this post I'll update you on my pregnancy! We've decided to go with the name Brynlee Dawn for our little girl!!! :) And for those of you who are curious why we choose that name... first the easy one. Midle name Dawn is both me and my mom's middle name and her mom's middle name is LaDawn. And then Brynlee is a name my mom has always loved so i know she would like it! haha :) and both Cody and I have always liked it as well. So there you have it. I know...some are wondering why I'm not naming her Kimberly after my mom...and I don't really have a real reason for not naming her that i just...think its my Mom's name. haha plus i'm sure my sister's would be mad that I took her name. haha I don't know. Anyway...my belly is getting sooo big!! and I love it so does Cody!! haha he is sooo dang cute about this whole pregnancy thing I just love it! My belly button is about to pop out any day now...which has me a little worried for how truly HUGE I am going to get. I'm only 22 weeks almost 5 months. But I'm still feeling awesome! Just lazy in the morning and having a really hard time gettin my butt to the gym. haha but i'm working on it! :)

WE'RE HAVING A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe we are actually having a girl!!!!! i thought for sure it was going to be a boy! but I am sooooo dang excited to have my new best friend for life!!! haha I LOVE IT!!! I should have known though that it was a girl...because I actually had a really neat experience...right before we found out we were pregnant I had a dream while we were in California for a family reunion that i was pregnant and had a little baby girl and went and played basketball that night! haha (yah right...but it was my dream) and it was just sooooo REAL!! it was crazy but... i didn't think too much of it. Cause I didn't think there was any way that i was pregnant or yadda yadda....and then when we found out i was pregnant...I thought back on that dream and realized the timing of it all was when i was pregnant and just didn't know it. (does that make sense??haha) anyway...I guess i do have some mothery instincts after all!! haha YAY ME!! and...in my dream....she was a hairy hairy little baby!!! hahha but the dang cutest thing i've EVER seen!!!!! so i can't wait to see if that part is true too... haha Cody says if she is anything like him, we could be in luck! :) oooooo i can't wait to meet her!!!! how fun!! i have an ACTUAL little person inside of me!! its crazy!!! and I LOVE ITTT!!!!!!!
So as of now i'm about 4 1/2 months pregnant! I've gained about 10 pounds and have felt really GOOD. My tummy is getting bigger and bigger...which is good cause i feel like i'm almost out of the awkward is she fat or pregnant stage? :)
well...cody is wanting me to cut his hair so i better get crackin! haha that little stinker! I'll write more later!

the Gaining weight de-lima!!

So...I have officially gained 6 pounds since i've been pregnant...and I'm having mixed feelings about it. haha because I'm not sure how much is really the baby...or me just eating more freely cause I have a baby!! haha not sure. But its all good! I have a tummy now...and once again...i'm not sure if its the baby or...me eating more freely! You see for a while food didn't sound all that great to me and once it did again...i've gone a little crazy i think! and i have developed an awful sweet tooth. I have bought candy at the store when i'm checking out..something i haven't done for years...needless to say....I think i need to be a little more careful! haha we have another doctor's visit today and I am way excited!! :)

Fall Picture TIME!!!

Last week our cute friends Keena and Jacob asked us to take some family fall pictures for them. So we did and while we were out their they took a couple of pictures of us! and they turned out so cute!

Welp I thought I better just keep posting little things here and there so I can develope a good blogging habit! :)

Right now I am SICK! :( just with a little cold but...for someone like me who is used to superhuman immune system this is a big thing. I NEVER get sick...well not never, never but...truly I hardly ever get sick but I think my little one is sucking up my superhuman powers and is making me a little weaker. But I guess its worth it. At least my boss is letting me go home after lunch since he heard me hacking up my lungs and almost ralphing...i know gross but its the truth. I had to hand up on someone today cause I had a painful coughing attack. eeehhhh :/ but...i'm sure it will go away soon! I'm just sooo glad I slept so great last night.

Yesterday Cody and I made a delicous dinner and had some wonderful friends come over. We made good ol slow cooker pot roast with some of the tastiest mashed potatoes (i LOVE mashed potatoes...soooo GOOD!) and our friends Missy and Keenen made the BEST peach pie i've ever had. So dang good! The peaches were heavenly! (I seriously get a little too excited about food.)

Speaking of good food! haha... Saturday night we had a girls night before the Women's General Conference and Me, Keena and Libby went out to the Olive Garden! It was soooo delicious and what made it even better was this sweet old man picked up our bill without us knowing! It was sooo awesome! He came up to our table as he was leaving was like like "are you girls sisters" and cute Libby answered "we're sisters in Zion" haha I just chuckled but it was really sweet she told him we were on our way to the conference and he said that's where his wife was. But long story short he totally made our day!! I can't wait till I can afford to do the same for others! :)

Let's try this AGAIN!! :) HAHA

Ok...so this time I think I'm serious! I'd really love to be an aweome blogger...but so far I have for lack of better words SUCKED! haha but...now that we have ONE on the way! I feel like it will be more fun to write about all the new things that will be happening over the next 6ish months!! And of course from there on out! Let the craziness begin! Cody and I seriously can't wait to meet our little baby!! Almost everyday my anticipation grows more and more...what will they look like...what will they be like...are they going to be kind....are we going to be the bestest of friends...yadda yadda! But truly I just cannot wait to meet them! :) YEAH FOR A BABYYY!!

So today we had our first real doctors visit and we got to see and hear the fast and powerful heartbeat! I was suprised how clear I could hear the heart...as for the seeing and knowing what is going on...I know where the head is, but everything else...doesn't really look like much! But it is!!! And the dr. knew exactly what everything was and said everything is good and healthy!! The baby is almost 2inches long which is fun to think about since not too long ago it was only the size of a blueberry!

Its crazy to think how fast they will grow...and continue to grow. I don't know what it is but to me time just FLIES! and it seems to only go faster and faster. Which in most ways I guess is a good thing. I just really have to remember to SLOW down and enjoy the little things. And I'm hoping the mindset will help me as a mom. When the house is a disater and so and so is bugging so and so and...the other so and so's are cutting eachothers hair! haha I seriously CAN NOT wait for all those days!!! where all you can do is love them and laugh!! maybe join in the bugging and cutting hair! haha who knows!

I am so... GRATEFUL for my own beautiful beautifl mother (whom i love and miss like crazy right now...but that's beside the point...) who has taught me and somehow continues to teach when to laugh.

But...since I got on the subject of my mom! I'd like to share something...so right now i'm working on my dad's Christmas gift which is a family scrapbook of all us kids. And it has been a lot of fun gathering up pictures and doing some written interviews with my brothers and sisters. (it is sooo crazy what some remember) But yesterday was the actual first day of me sitting down and putting the pictures on some scrapbooking paper trying to make them a simple but as cute as possible. And so far I think I am doing pretty good. I started withTucker yesterday and it was just a really sweet moment cause I have a picture of my mom right on the craft desk (cause she is my crafting inspiration) and I was just at a lost for words...not really sure what to write on the pages so...I just looked at her and it was like she began to remind me of the (ok...i'm about to cry, but i'm at work so I can't) but...she just reminded me of the special relationship Tucker and her had...he was her shadow (we all were but...him the most) she couldn't walk by him without him wanting a HUG! he loved his momma's hugs! And I was reminded of how they'd go back in forth saying things like..."I love you more than all the M&M's in the world" and she say back something like "I love you more than all the sand in the world" and they'd just go on and on. And if I remember right...this mostly accured in her bed where we'd all pile in to snuggle with her. What a precious memory!!! I LOVE IT! and I hope as I continue to work on this book that i'll be blessed with more.

So I think this is why I'm not the best "BLOGGER"...haha I can't stay on track when writing things if you paid me....Oh well!!!

Well I have to get back to work! But...its been fun! haha :) I hope I can get more consistent!

January 2010

New Years Eve we spent it with Hailey and Brett (and his family) and Taner and Megan! It was a lot of fun! We had lots of food and played some good ol phase 10! The next day Me, Cody, McKinley and my Dad went on an awesome hike to PooPoo Point! It was a really pretty hike! And a nice work out! :)

For the month of January I earned a free Boot Camp for a competition we did in the Ultimate Loser, and it has been A LOT of fun and i've been very sore alllll month! haha which i love! :) its been fun getting back into shape! I love it!

Lets see..what else have we done this month. Oh our ward is doing the Book of Mormon challenge, and we're trying to finish the Book of Mormon before the end of the school year....(Cody and I are already a LITTLE behind! hehe) But i'm excited for it! I love reading the book of Mormon, always learn and understand new things!

We found out that some of our favorite people are "EXPECTING" i won't say names yet...but we are sooooooo EXCITED for them!!

Last weekend was Lon's Birthday and we had a party and Dan and Lindsay's house (Cody's sister) in Willard Bay. It was way fun! We picked up Papa Murphy's Pizza and had the best Texas Sheet cake! sooo good! Me and my nephews Porter and Owen had a lot of fun playing!!

Tonight we had a party with some of our favorite people: Jana, LJ, Bela, Libby, Josh, Bell, Porter, Jacob, Keena, Ephraim, Isaac, Venesa and Elizabeth! I made too much yummy Clam Chowder so I invited them all over to help us eat it! And they did a great job! only a spoonful left! :)

ohhhh..yeah! I got excepted to USU! I'm "planning" on going back to school to finish my teaching Certificate! And i'm really looking forward to it!

Well...as for now that is all i can think about! Tomorrow we get to watch Ephraim and on Friday Bela is going to have a sleep over!! Should be lots of fun!!

Good Bye 2009...

I can't believe the Holiday's have already come and are LONG gone! I seriously love this time of year getting to spend lots of time with Family and friends. I'm wanting to do a better job at keeping up with this blog....mostly just for myself to use as a journal. But for those of you whom may read it...cool! haha This will be a long post...but there is much i need to catch up on.
I'm going all the way back to Thanksgiving! This Thanksgiving we actually got to spend it with my family over in Tremonton at Grandma J's house. And it was really special and A LOT of fun! The following day after Thanksgivng Novemeber 27th was the 5 year mark for us losing our beautiful mother and friend in a tragic car accident. So our family went out to her grave site (something i have mixed feelings about) but it was really special to all be there together, we were only missing Taner and his wife Megan. I can't believe its been 5 years already in one way it seems so long ago but at the same time it seems like just last week. crazy crazy...but enough of that for now....
Now we'll fast forward a little bit to December one night we got a bunch of our friends together and we make the most awesome gingerbread houses! It was way fun. Josh and Libby Christensen brought a FIVE pound bucket of frosting!!! it was ridiculus!!! Everyone was feeling a little sick afterwards. I'll have to post some pictures up later! Me and Cody's house was AWESOME!!!
We also had another Lund Family Christmas Party at the house with all of Cody's family and everyone made it this year...on time! Last year there was a HUGE storm and it was awful for everyone to drive in but they all made it safely. We had a really good time! I forget what we ate...oh yeah! soooo much food! we had bake potatoes, salad, Winger's Chicken, Texas Roadhouse Ribs & Rolls, homemade rootbear from Hire's (Lon's Favorite place...well one of them. haha) and...some yummy dips and other tasty things. It was really really yummy! And really good to spend time with all of them!
Cody and I left for Auburn December 23rd and we didn't have to come back till Jan. 3rd! So it was a real nice LONG trip. For Cody, it was a little too long! But for me...I LOVED IT!!! and really hope to move up there just while my littlest sister McKinley is going to High School! and then we can go wherever! haha But i really want to be there (in person) for her during high school! we all know how hard high school can be...and how much fun it can be! and i just want to be there cheering her on in all her sports!!! She is a baller! haha (i taught her all she knows...and she KNOWS and is WAY better than i ever was! haha)
While we were up in Washington we did a lot of fun things...almost every morning my dad and i would go for a run and that was really good to get my butt up and moving while i was there. Plus it was fun just to spend some extra time with just him! even though we hardly would talk! haha but...it was good and much needed!
We went on a couple of hikes while we were there and it just fascinates me how GREEN it is there, and how many veriations of the color of green there are! Its crazy and sooo pretty!!!
I LOVE WASHINGTON!!!
Katie and I of course had a big BLOW UP!! but...thats almost always expected with either her or Hailey when I go up there...but i think things are worked out...haha I truly truly do LOVE all 3 of my sisters sooooo much! Everyone knows i favor McKinley a LITTLE...but she is the baby!! But really all of them are my favorite in totally different ways! we are all sooooo different! and that is a really GOOD thing! sometimes its hard to understand eachother but...its good! They are all beautiful girls and i just love them to death and only want the VERYVERY best for them!!! Yeah for seesters!!!!
Lets see what else did we do...oh sweet little McKinley has re-introduced me a "Thankful Journal" so far i've been doing good at writing something down every night, and i have LOVED it! for those who suck at writing some sort of journal (like me!) try this out, just write down 1 thing you were grateful for that day. I have yet to only be able to write down one...but seriously there is soooooo much to be Thankful for it just blows my mind AWAY!! i LOVE it!
well...i'm at work right now...hehe and i think they are getting a suspicious of me typing away like a mad woman! So for now i'll end here! and I'm really really wanting to be better at writing down on the wonderful things that are goin on in my life...and typing beats writing it down on paper cause i always get those HUGE ugly writing calluses. So anyway...THE END!!! I LOVE MY LIFE!!!! and everyone that is a part of it!!!
